February Roaster’s Choice
Guatemala 🇬🇹 Huehuetenango Xinabajul Producers.
.
Notes// nectarine, orange, muffin.
.
Importer// Coffee Shrub
.
This coffee comes from the small, hard to access farms on the high ridges of the Cuchumantes mountains of Guatemala. In the past these small farms have sold their coffee to the larger farms located on the valley floor where their coffees are mixed with the larger, lower quality crops. The arrangement left these growers with less money for their coffee and less incentive to pick and process for quality. Coffee Shrub’s Proyecto Xinabajul is changing the game for these growers, offering premium prices for premium coffee and creating a stand-out, smallholder offering that can be tasted in the cup.
.
This is why story of why we do what we do and why we love it.

@solabread sneak peek was off the chain this morning! The space is looking fantastic and was only out shone by the amazingly delicious eats.
.
We have been sad to lose our @truevinebrewing neighbors over at 219 Englewood but the bigger, better True Vine on Earl Campbell Pkwy is just that bigger and better!Plus their new neighbors #solabread are the bestest humans we know.
.
For the curious out there, we will continue to hold down the fort on Englewood. Thankfully these guys are just down road and they couldn’t get rid of us if they wanted to.
